Youth Program
Our children split into two groups when they dismiss to children's church. The children 10 and under participate in the Unifriends' program.
Each week, EddyLynn Kledzik uses a Unity curriculum to lead her classes. She includes a basic principle, an affirmation, scripture, and reads a Bible lesson. The children also have a snack, participate in a game or make a craft and have time for meditation or reflection.
The preteens and teens in our congregation ages 11 and older participate in the Uniteen program. This program is taught on a rotating basis by volunteers in our congregation. Julia Bull, Ros Lanthorne, and Brian Conley work with the youth using Unity curriculum. They include the basic Unity principles, affirmations, and scripture as they build a closer relationship with God. Presently, they are working on meditation to be able to take part in the meditation portion of our celebration service each week within the sanctuary.
The children in both programs benefit from having a community of peers who are looking to connect with God, believe in affirmative prayer, and make a difference. We look forward to serving our children every week!
